Shantiniketan is famous due to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, whose vision became what is now a university town - Visva-Bharati University. Santiniketan has been recognized by UNESCO as India's 41st World Heritage Site.

    After breakfast, Check-Out and explore Charida Village (Popular for Chhau Mask) and proceed to Jhargram (195 KM / 5 hr 30 min) - Jhargram is beautiful for its green sal forests, rich cultural heritage and palaces. There is peaceful co-existence of Sabar, Lodha, Santal, Munda, Birhore like aboriginals. Their festivals, rite & rituals and colourful songs & dances are rare of the rarest of Bengal as well as India. So it's called the golden treasury of folk & tribal culture.
    After arrival explore the Slate Curving Artist’s Studio ’Swapno Udaan’ and Junglemahal Craft Hub (Local Handicraft Product) and evening enjoy the Tribal Dance (Langrey/Dang) along with Campfire and Raibenshe Dance (Martial Folk Dance).
